North Star Job Hunt cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continuing availability of third-party information and does not accept liability for inaccuracies, omissions, or misleading content supplied by any third party or user of the Website.

You may only use the Website for lawful purposes, including seeking employment, managing your career, purchasing or registering interest in training, recruiting staff, or using services made available by North Star Job Hunt.

You must not seek to undermine the security, stability, integrity, or lawful operation of the Website.

• access, alter, delete, or attempt to obtain information to which you do not have authorised access;
• introduce malware, harmful code, or any file, script, or routine capable of damaging systems, data, or users;
• interfere with the Website by flooding, scraping, spamming, excessive automated requests, or any other abusive behaviour;
• attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, decipher, or unlawfully copy the Website, its software, or its underlying systems;

You are solely responsible for information, files, applications, recruiter content, course enquiries, CVs, cover letters, messages, and any other material you submit to the Website.

You must ensure that any information provided by you is true, accurate, up to date, not misleading, and does not infringe any applicable law, regulation, code of practice, contract, confidentiality obligation, copyright, trademark, or other rights of any third party.

North Star Job Hunt reserves the right, at its discretion and without obligation to provide an explanation, to remove, suspend, restrict, or decline to publish any information or content submitted to the Website.

North Star Job Hunt may use information supplied by you to provide recruitment, employability, course, support, and associated administrative services through the Website.

This includes processing data supplied during registration, applications, profile completion, recruiter onboarding, training enquiries, and any other forms or workflows completed through the Website, in each case in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and the North Star Job Hunt Privacy Policy.

Where an employer or hiring manager uses North Star Job Hunt to send a candidate screening link, the completed answers may be transmitted to the named hiring contact so that person can review them as part of a human-led hiring process.

Once candidate information, applications, CVs, messages, or screening answers are disclosed to a recruiter, employer, hiring manager, course provider, or similar recipient for that organisation's own purposes, that recipient will usually act as a separate controller for its later use of the information.

Please note that recruiter companies and other third-party hiring organisations using the Website are expected to comply with these terms and with any additional recruiter terms, verification rules, data protection requirements, and billing conditions made available to them.

Recruiters, employers, agencies, hiring managers, and other organisations using North Star Job Hunt must ensure that any jobs, screening questions, candidate communications, hiring instructions, and contact details they upload or use through the Website are lawful, fair, relevant to the role, and non-discriminatory.

Where a recruiter, employer, or hiring contact receives candidate information from North Star Job Hunt for its own recruitment or hiring purposes, that organisation is responsible for its own compliance with UK data protection law, equality law, recruitment law, and any other obligations that apply to its use of the information.

If you use employer or recruiter tools through the Website, you must not request special-category personal data, identity documents, webcam footage, intrusive monitoring, or other unnecessary information unless you have a clear lawful basis, an appropriate notice, and a genuine operational need for doing so.

North Star Job Hunt includes AI-assisted tools for drafting, coaching, summaries, and structured support. Those tools are intended to assist people, not to replace human judgement.

You must review AI-assisted output before using, sending, sharing, or relying on it. Recruiters, employers, and other organisations using information generated or supported by AI through the Website remain responsible for fair and lawful human review of any hiring or employment decision.

Recruiters, employers, agencies, and hiring clients may be subject to additional service terms, billing arrangements, verification requirements, and access conditions before recruiter services are enabled or continued.

Training courses, learning products, or branded partner learning services offered through the Website may also be subject to additional terms issued by North Star Job Hunt, a delivery partner, or a course provider, depending on the nature of the course offering.

All rights in Website content are protected by copyright, software, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You agree to use the Website in a manner that does not infringe those rights.

You may copy material from the Website only for your own personal, domestic, or internal review purposes. No copying, reproduction, republication, redistribution, resale, or commercial exploitation is permitted without prior written permission from North Star Job Hunt or the relevant rights holder.

If you register for an account, you are responsible for keeping your username, password, MFA device, authentication codes, and other access credentials secure and confidential.

If you choose to sign in through a third-party identity provider such as Google or Microsoft, that sign-in flow will also be subject to the relevant provider's own terms, privacy information, and security controls.

You must notify North Star Job Hunt immediately if you believe that your password, authenticator, or account may be known to another person or may be used in an unauthorised way. North Star Job Hunt accepts no liability for unauthorised use of your credentials where that arises from your failure to protect them.

North Star Job Hunt may suspend, limit, or terminate registrations, recruiter access, listings, applications, or general access to the Website at any time, in its discretion, where there is misuse, fraud, harmful conduct, unlawful behaviour, billing non-payment, policy breach, or another legitimate operational or legal reason.

Termination or suspension of access does not prevent North Star Job Hunt from taking any other action available to it in law or under these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, North Star Job Hunt excludes liability for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website, whether direct or indirect, and including loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of profit, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data, or any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever.

North Star Job Hunt also excludes, to the extent permitted by law, all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to the Website and your use of it.

You agree to indemnify and keep North Star Job Hunt indemnified against all costs, expenses, claims, losses, liabilities, and proceedings arising from your use or misuse of the Website or your breach of these terms.

The courts of the United Kingdom shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with use of the Website or any related service provided through it.
