Recruiter service terms

The recruiter organisation is responsible for the accuracy of the company details supplied, the lawfulness of jobs and recruiter content uploaded, and the proper use of recruiter search, outreach, screening, and team features.

The recruiter organisation must keep credentials, MFA methods, invite links, and workspace access secure, and must review team access carefully so only authorised people can use recruiter features.

North Star Job Hunt must be notified promptly if the recruiter organisation believes recruiter credentials, invite links, or workspace access may have been compromised or used without authority.

The recruiter organisation must ensure that all listings, screening questions, candidate searches, messages, outreach, shortlist activity, and other recruiter content are accurate, role-relevant, and lawful.

Recruiter content must not be misleading, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise improper, and must not request unnecessary or intrusive personal data.

The recruiter services must not be used for hidden marketing lists, spam, scraping, unrelated resale of candidate information, or any purpose not genuinely connected to recruitment or hiring.

Where North Star Job Hunt makes candidate information available to a recruiter organisation for that organisation's own recruitment purposes, that organisation will usually act as a separate controller for its later use of the information.

The recruiter organisation is responsible for its own compliance with UK data protection law, equality and anti-discrimination law, employment and recruitment law, and any obligation to provide fair and transparent candidate notices.

The recruiter organisation must not use recruiter features to ask for special-category personal data, identity documents, webcam footage, biometric data, or other intrusive information unless it has a clear lawful basis, an appropriate notice, and a genuine operational need.

North Star Job Hunt may provide AI-assisted recruiter support, including structured screening help, drafting, and workflow suggestions. These tools are support tools only and are not presented as sole decision-making systems.

The recruiter organisation remains fully responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs, making meaningful human decisions, and ensuring that no sole automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect is taken through reliance on North Star outputs alone.

Recruiter services may be subject to paid plans, seat limits, feature limits, trial periods, invoicing rules, payment collection terms, and other billing conditions stated by North Star Job Hunt from time to time.

The recruiter organisation must keep billing details current, pay valid charges when due, use the correct number of seats for the plan chosen, and must not attempt to evade seat, plan, or billing restrictions.

North Star Job Hunt may suspend or limit recruiter services where payment is overdue, billing is disputed in bad faith, or plan restrictions are materially bypassed.

North Star Job Hunt will aim to keep recruiter services available and useful, but does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent feature continuity, or error-free operation.

North Star Job Hunt may update, improve, suspend, or withdraw recruiter features where reasonably necessary for product development, legal compliance, supplier change, security, or operational reasons.

North Star Job Hunt may suspend, restrict, or terminate recruiter access where verification is incomplete or false, billing is unpaid, there is misuse, abuse, fraud, scraping, security risk, or candidate data is used unlawfully or unfairly.

The recruiter organisation may stop using the recruiter services at any time, but outstanding charges and any accrued obligations will still remain payable where they have already arisen.

North Star Job Hunt does not guarantee that any recruiter listing, candidate search, screening result, shortlist, or outreach message will result in hiring success, candidate response, or a particular recruitment outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, North Star Job Hunt excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or reputational loss arising from use of the recruiter services.

The recruiter organisation remains responsible for its own hiring decisions, compliance, candidate treatment, and internal use of recruiter outputs and data.

North Star Job Hunt may update these Recruiter Business Terms from time to time. The version in force will be the version made available to the recruiter organisation at the relevant acceptance or continued-use point.
